In Memorium: Runaround 2005-2006

Finally, the amazing hamster with nine lives or more, has passed away. In addition to that story about the grand adventure/rescues, she's also managed to escape from her cage for two years in a row at Oak Island, NC and Houdini'd in a friend's truck somewhere near Brevard NC on an icy/snowy December night. This list goes on and on.

In the end, she just died from old age ... and in her "I will not go gently into that good night" fashion, it took her five days to give it up and go on. She was a great little hamster and we'll miss her much.
